What is Costa Rica Companions?
Costa Rica Companions is relatively new (since December 1998) organization
that helps to find mates (Costa Rican women) for foreign men. Many of our
clients are men that are tired of the types of women they are meeting in
their home countries and are looking for a wholesome, caring woman. Many
of our clients travel to Costa Rica and want to meet someone there.
What do
I get when I join?
You are given a user name and password. With these, you get total access
to our database of women and their email addresses. We provide translation
services between Spanish and English at no extra cost. The communications
is between you and them and we provide the translation and give them access
to the Internet through our computers and data entry person. These are
not the type of women you would normally meet online. There are no additional
costs.
How Much Will it Cost
Me?
Our current membership cost is $25 for two months, $30 for three months,
$50 for six months and $95 for one year. That comes to between $6.92 and
$12.50 per month depending on how long you sign up for. How much money

How did companionships.com
start?
One of the founders owns a restaurant in Tilaran, near Lake Arenal.
He saw so many of the women that worked for him were in abusive relationships.
He also knew so many successful relationships that were with foreign men
and Costa Rican women (many with much older men than the women) that he
asked the girls why they didn't try to meet a nice foreign man. Most wanted
to meet someone but did not know how to go about meeting them. He then
approached the other founder (who was one of the happy couples he knew)
who owned an Internet company in Costa Rica. Together they developed companionships.com
in December of 1998. Once the word got out, women were coming in with photos,
and to have photos taken, from all over Costa Rica. If you see these women's
photos on any other site, they were probably taken from our site as we
have had this problem in the past.
Why don't you use professional glamour photos? One of the founders once met a woman that he met through an online service and almost fainted because she looked so different in person. It created a very awkwark situation for him. We want to show you what they look like on an average day in their normal environment. We feel it is a more honest and direct approach.
How can I be successful in acheiving a response from the women? Use the following procedure:
Why don't you put the age range that these women are looking for? Originally we did, but almost all of them said "not important" as long as they are a good person. They DO Want to see a photo of the person though (see instructions above). Even just of your face is fine.

The minimum payments for INTERNATIONAL money orders (in U$ Dollars) is $50. This pays for six months of service. Our bank charges us and it takes one month to clear the bank.
Contact us by email and give us your preferred login and password and we will await your check. It normally takes 5 days to get here. We will activate you upon receipt.
